Parent Education Program In Your School
Research has shown that When parents are involved at school, the performance of all the children at school, not just their own, tends to improve. The more comprehensive and well planned the partnership between school and home, the higher the student achievement.
Henderson, A.T., and Nancy Berla. 1995. A New Generation of Evidence: The Family Is Critical to Student Achievement. Washington, DC: Center for Law and Education, 14–16.
Parents’ involvement is not limited to the academic part of the school. In fact, due to the challenges parents are dealing with, they are looking for answers and support.
When support is given by the school itself, it creates a partnership between the school and the parents, increases the involvement positively, helps to attract more families, and helps to create a community.
